Do I get speakup too if I do like this?

Hello!

Since I've got some difficulties with compiling the kernel I've decided to take the speakup modified fedora core 6, and use brltty:s built in script to add braille support to the dvd image.
Will the speakup modules install with the distribution if I do that?
