Vinux startup.

Same situation here with vinux.  Probably because it was made with a 
hacked version of ubuntu 10.04l.t.s.  The ubuntu mirrors were hacked and 
cannonical ltd. just discovered the damage two weeks ago.  This is now 
July, but the hacking damage had apparently started six months ago and
