Strange, strange problem with google, lynx and brltty on one linux machine

I don't think it's a partially loaded page. If I have speakup on I can navigate and hit enter on links and go clear to the bottom of the page. I would think it was a brltty or data flow problem except that it only happens when loading google and my speakup speech, which is not through an external synthesizer, responds just fine.
