Spam filter that works with fetchmail and mutt

I am being plagues with spam, especially from mailoing lists or forums 
to which I have been signed up without my permission. Is there a spam 
filter that works with fetchmail and mutt? Basically I just want it to 
discard messages from certain addresses.
