hey yall, can linux work without ncurses? any distro? why? I use a versabrailler for a terminal. it is a dumb terminal--no emulation. the escape codes for terminal control appear on my display; it is annoying. please don't tell me to get a new terminal etc etc lol. i can afford this one. thanks all. --Brian Tew
