Accessible Distros for a beginner?

[Linux for blind general discussion]

For command line users Debian is no problem.  For mouse users though
unless they do lots of reading ahead of time they're likely going to
panic.

The nearest they can get is Ubuntu since its installer is graphical out
of the box.
