A Live Boot Image for the Mac that Talks

Hi!
Mac should be able to boot from the usb stick.
Whether dd is a good command or not i won’t discuss because i don’t know.
But you should be able to boot from a usb or cd.
But can’t you just use the recovery utility from the internet.
