Jumping from Solus/Ubuntu to Slint...how easy is it?

You say you can't run it in a VM, I got it working in quckemu with a bit
of poking at the example files.
So, question. I'm missing two apps in my VM install
Purple-skypeweb (Pidgin skype plugin) as well as Skype
Second one...Kodi
So can I get both installed in Slint or?
