There is a shut down option on the bottom of the alt+F1 menu.
Or use the hotkey
ctrl+alt+delete
You will have a chance to choose shut down restart or suspend or do nothing and the system will shut down after a count down.
Press the windows key
Type terminal and press enter
I’m not on my Linux at the moment, but I believe terminal is also on the accessories menu.

I was able to confirm that I indeed booted from usb with accessible coconut by using my iPhone camera. I have no idea how to get the speech going. So please if you have a tutorial, send it my way.
