+1 on the overhaul, as you know.

more comments as I attempt to port my existing configs to the new
version to see what it looks like.

One important question I want to address, though: is anyone actually
putting any effort into making Nulecule into a real standard?  As in
getting other tools/vendors to adopt it?

If the answer is no -- and I expect it is -- then that gives us a freer
hand to make changes which specifically make atomicapp work better.
