[Ambassadors] thinking about 2009

+1. Why?
a) it's going to provide direction
b) local people are better equip to respond to situations
c) resources would be cheaper to mobilize
d) it's going to spread the burden of managing our ~600 ambassadors worldwide

> things done?  Does this model mean that FAmSCo is not needed for event

I believe that regional IRC meetings are still useful. FAmSCo is still
relevant on this model, because it will legitimize the whole thing.
Regional steering committees would be accountable to FAmSCO.

> (3) What do you think FAmSCo should focus on?

Organization of ambassadors around the world. As Francesco put it,
"making your ambassador experience great" or something to that effect.
Making sure resources get to the ground, providing linkages to other
organizations who can help ambassadors out and most importantly,
providing direction.

By providing direction and insights on practices across other organizations.
