There are various tickets in infra track asking to install the various
mediawiki extensions that claim to support watching/indexing/feeding
of categories.

Though, most of them do not seem to do "category and sub-categories".
Which is what's actually needed if you don't want to maintain a copy
of the subcategory tree on all the client sides.
