Problemas con escaner

Hola:
Me he comprado una multifuncion hp psc 1315. He consiguido que la impresora 
funcione correctamente, pero ha habido suerte con el escaner. He buscado 
información y he enconrado los supuestos pasos a seguir para hacer que esto 
vaya. 
Primero:

Después: 
[muddy at mundillo ~]$ scanimage -L
device `v4l:/dev/video0' is a Noname BT878 video (Hauppauge (bt878)) virtual 
device

Como se ver en vez de coger el escaner coge la capturadora de televisión.
La verdad es que no tengo ni idea de que hacer.
Cualquier ayuda o indicación de documentación que pueda ayudarme será muy 
agradecida.
