Reopening because of the fontforge instability issue.

Regenerating the font cache files ("fc-cache /usr/share/X11/fonts/Type1")
doesn't help as the missing font files are referenced in the
xorg-x11-fonts-Type1 package, in the files /usr/share/X11/fonts/Type1/fonts.dir
and .../fonts.scale. Removing that package helps of course for running
fontforge, but then you're missing some fonts you may want to have.
