well, it all started by me trying to fit Fedora on 1 GB USB sticks we got from
Red Hat, so I can say "anything that fits under 1 GB" :-)

in general, I just want to have installed only the things I really need, so
"minimal" is the smallest possible package set that fullfills my needs ... for
example, for some reasons (at least bug #480317), virtualisation is quite slow
on my machine, and installing new virtual machines for testing is bigger and
bigger pain with each bit that has to be copied and processed (these are my
usecases, am I really alone for whom do the installed bits matter?)
