Here's how you take care of that nasty little ntfs problem:

No kernel recompile necessary.

NTFS isn't supported in Red Hat kernels due to various reasons.  You
have to recompile the kernel to include it if you want to access it.

Otherwise, change it or create a fat32 partition and it should access
that fine out of the box.
