Question on Up2Date

I've tried using a mirror as many have suggested:
I have:

yum fedora-core-1
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/fedora/linux/core/1/i386/os
yum updates-released
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/fedora/linux/core/updates/1/i386

(all on one two lines)

when I run up2date -u
I get:
There was some sort of I/o error: [Errno 104] Connection reset by peer

I've verified this mirror works in a web browser... any ideas?
