Hi!

$ cp -a /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 \
         /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0:0

and change the copied file to your needs (!!!you have to edit the device 
name in that file too)

after that

$ service network restart

, and should work well.
