building a LDAP login server

Hello,
I will use FC2 as a login server for other FC2 PC's.
So i have installed at the server the openldap-servers package and at 
the client the openldap-clients package. And i have select at the 
clients with sysconfig-auto.. the they will use ldap to get the login infos.
But it will not work. when a client try to login it not use ldap. When i 
look in /var/log/secure of the client i only see pam:unix entrys. But 
nothing with ldap. And how must i add users in the LDAP Server?
