Well, I definitely know the way how to do it with up2date (pretty
sure, that there is a good way to do it with yum or apt, but,
unfortunately, did not discovered and tried it myself.
You just need to download all the packages from the "updates" (skip
all the debug directory, though) and start the up2date utility from
the command-line as follows:
up2date -k:%path% -u

or

up2date -k:%path% -uf (if you need to update the kernel, as well)

where the %path% would be your actual path to all the updates downloaded.
Works just pefectly for me.
