Here is my timing of groupadd:
[root at localhost ~]# time groupadd docers
real 0m0.157s
user 0m0.007s
sys 0m0.007s
As you can see it's so fast I didn't have time to do a top
while it was running.
Something definitely looks wrong on your system. The only thing different on my
system is I wasn't running ssh.
Could something have compromised your groupadd command? Script kiddie
or something?
