Re: live update for fedora core 5?

     I realize there could be some breakage which is why the live update
should very well warn of that. However, the current situation isn't much
better. The Fedora Legacy project will likely never have the resources
it needs to maintain the previous versions since most folks with an
inclination for Fedora will keep upgrading. With free clones of RHEL
like Centos now, folks who want to remain static on a given release will
likely migrate that way. However for people with newer hardware or arch
(eg x86_64) will probably want the latest developement tools and Fedora
may be a better choice for that.
      Also considering that Fedora is a technology proving ground for
RHEL, it would seem to be the best place to introduce such live upgrade
or archive and install technology to the installer.
