Yum dependency question

Does directfb 0.9.22 have a major security problem or some other 
serious bug that _requires_ you to update to 0.9.24? If not, 
just stay with 0.9.22 until new xine-lib and mplayer packages 
compatible with directfb 0.9.24 are released.
