I downloaded the rescan-scsi-bus.sh script and ran it. It reports
Host adapter 1 (tmscsim) found
SCSI target IDs 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 , LUNs 0
0 new device(s) found
0 devices removed
I suppose at this point I should find out whether the scanner still works with
windows, but the only windows I have now is a dual-boot laptop. Catch 22.
