yum update to f10 - texlive takes forever

Hi

I'm doing a yum update from f9 to f10 and all is well until it now started
updating texlive and its been sitting there for about 30 mins now.. checking
the processes looks like its running
7954 root      20   0  117m  88m  696 R 99.7  4.4  12:11.42 tex

ps ax|grep tex
 7954 pts/69   R+    12:24 tex -ini -jobname=tex -progname=tex tex.ini

is this expected? something in the post scripts part of the upgrade? how
long is this expected to take?
