Synaptic problem. MD5 sum mismatch with all installs

Have you installed the "newkey" updates; i.e. run yum upgrade, and
install the new keys? After that did you update your apt repositories?
You need to do both.

The easiest thing for me was to just do another yum uprade to get the
latest updates for smart and apt-get from the .newkey repo.
