Warning against preupgrade

I've hit this too.  I've been meaning to open a bug report for it and 
will do so now.

If I chose the option to update the existing bootloader I often ended up 
with a mis-installed grub (about 5 out of 7 machines if I remember).  I 
found that if I chose to create a new booloader configuration that 
anaconda was suggesting I install grub into the MBR of /dev/sdb which 
wasn't the primary boot device.  If I changed that manually to /dev/sda 
it worked.

I'm guessing that for the update option it just takes it's guess to be 
correct and installs in the MBR of the wrong device.

Looking in BZ it looks like this is already reported at:
