I have just tested this, in relation to bug
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=213346
The machine doesn't crash now, but the X server fails to start, the
same problem I saw with the early BIOS versions on the OptiPlex GX270.
Here's the relevant section of the Xserver log:
(EE) I810(0): No Video BIOS modes for chosen depth.
Backtrace:
0: /usr/bin/Xorg(xf86SigHandler+0x81) [0x80d4cc1]

7: /usr/bin/Xorg(FontFileCompleteXLFD+0x1e9) [0x806eda1]
Fatal server error:
Caught signal 11. Server aborting
I shall attach the full log to the bugzilla entry.
Adam
