[Feedhenry-raincatcher] Checking Online Connectivity

Hey Colum,

Given how heavily raincatcher uses sync, I'd say its the sync client online
check thats the only thing doing a check.
Here's the js sdk version of that

Unless there is something else in raincatcher modules that does something
similar before deferring to sync? (anyone else on the mail list that could
confirm/clarify this?)
