@Wojciech I assumed the sync framework was doing the heavy lifting here.
Agreed, I don’t the cordova network connection module will cover all
scenario

As I progess with the file/binary uploads I have found he need to be able
to check connectivity to the cloud. In past projects a d tartegy whereby
pinging the cloud app was used a sufficient check to ensure the app is
online
