[Freeipa-users] local system user with ldap group

Good Afternoon,

Quick question I hope.  I have a group on my IPA server and I would
like to add a local system user to the LDAP group.  I added the group
into /etc/group on the system and it still doesn't show the user as a
member of the group.  Is this even possible?

sssd-1.12.4-47.el6_7.7.x86_64
ipa-client-3.0.0-47.el6.centos.1.x86_64
ipa-server-3.0.0-47.el6.centos.1.x86_64
