[K12OSN] Mapping / Logons with OSX and Linux Server

Question:

We're running RH 7.2 as our server with netatalk and samba chugging along 
like a dream. We have OSX Panther on many of our clients, and what we 
would like to do is have our users have to sign on as registered clients 
and have their server space mounted automatically (much like when they log 
onto a Windows client via samba now.)

Anyone doing this? Samba? NFS? Netatalk? Suggestions?
