[K12OSN] old AT keyboards and serial mouse not working

It is probably completely a mouse problem.  I've seen many occasions 
where an incorrectly configured mouse will cause the keyboard to also 
not work in X windows.  Fix the mouse issue, and quite likely, the 
keyboard will work too.
