[K12OSN] terminal was working, now stalls when loading kernel

I did all those things--no joy. However, I just shutdown iptables and the
client login popped right up (I'm off-site, but after I shut iptables down, the
user went back to his workstation and said the login screen was there). So,
I'll have to twiddle with iptable settings I guess.
