[K12OSN] smbldap-installer issue with roaming profiles...help find the bug

I got the same thing initially.  But, right now I am not. Here's what I did:

I wiped the FC3 installation and reinstalled from scratch.  This time I did
*not* run up2date or yum. I ran the smbldap installer script and now
I have no problems with profile creation at all. I wonder if a bug
has been introduced with the uplevel samba package?


This is my samba ver:  samba-3.0.8-0.pre1.3
my openldap version is 2.2.13-2

Are any of your's different?
