[K12OSN] Java issue here too (k12 4.1.1)

John,

If you edit sshd_config to say "X11Forwarding yes", then you can run Mozilla on the remote server via SSH and it will display on your screen at home.

A year or so ago a LUG member set up a vnc connection to the school for me and access to the gui. Wish I still had that set up so I could test changes to such things from home. so -> /usr/java/j2re1.4.2_05/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32/libjavaplugin_oji.so and I have compared this server to another and everything looks the same. Obviously it's not :-\ but darn if I can see it. I'll try the script in Install Additional Software dir but I'm looking at the get.java script it refers to and it seems that yum install should work what am I overlooking here?
