Re: [K12OSN] Running K12LTSP on existing windows network without modifying windows server

Wouldn't specifying a fixed IP for eth0 avoid conflicts with the WIN2K server?

Build out your K12LTSP server as you'd like it...dhcp is over
eth0...which is where the clients will connect...
now... take the uplink cable to the switch in the lab... and plug it
into eth1 on the server...
then plug another cable from eth0 on the server into the switch in the
lab...

This assumes that you have a separate switch in the lab that you
can isolate - and is the best approach if you do, or if you can
add such a switch between your eth0 interface and the local
clients. If all of your wiring goes back to a central location
you may need to use boot floppies with an alternate dhcp port.
