I have not had much luck at all with sound since versions 4.x of
k12ltsp. I used to have full sound support with a LTSP term 150 and
nasd in the default of Gnome. Now it is hit and miss. I get some
things to work if I switch to IceWM, but still very buggy.

I wish that there was some sound project that everything could be
standardized on. I think some trouble is that every software developer
picks a different sound platform.

I have pretty much written of sound as a no go at this point. If I get
it to work, great, but I am not promising anything to anyone at this
point. I wish I knew more on how to troubleshoot sound in Linux and
ltsp.

Anyone have any good tutorials or extra info on this?
