[K12OSN] Problems Using the Fluxbox GUI

Hi,
I have a K12ltsp lab setup in my classrom. I have a mixture of thin clients 
and thick clients. I have the thick clients set up using the SMB/LDAP system 
that I have learned so much about on this listserv, (thanks for all the 
great advice). When I install fluxbox on the thick clients locally and then 
use it on them the gui loads quick and the students can log in without any 
problems. However and here is my problem. When they choose session "fluxbox" 
on the thin clients the system hangs at a black screen and doesn't bring up 
the gui but the mouse pointer is still visible and still responds to 
movement of the mouse. I used an older version of flux on a k12ltsp 4.0 thin 
client setup and I loved the speed that it gave the system. I am currently 
using a fully updated k12ltsp 4.2 server built on fedora core 3 and the 
version of flux I installed was the fluxbox-0.9.13-3.fc3.i386.rpm which I 
found in the fedora repository for fedora core 3 at 
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/extras/3/i386/
If anyone has successfully setup fluxbox on their k12ltsp 4.2 system and has 
any helpful information or notes on what they did i could really use it.
