[K12OSN] What would you use to build a school web site?

I am looking for a software system/framework that I can configure to create a school web site where content can be easily updated by non-technical students, teachers and administrators. 
   
  Our school will only have about 350 students k-12 so scalability is not a huge concern. The main goal is that information can be easily changed and updated by students and administrators.
   
  Our current web site created by a parent volunteer is here: www.trilliumcharterschool.org and is hosted by www.onsmart.com
