Hi Carl,

We are running mostly K12LTSP v. 4.2.0 but also video works on 4.4.1 as well.

I wound up RPMing everything and installed both Mplayer as well as Xine-ui
Xine works fine with embedded video,and plays all  video formats,as Shawn
mentioned.
WE use Mplayer to play video "locally".
I can give you our ftp site,,if you like as i have all the RPMs on there
and you could download them all, There are several,you have to install to
make it all work.
