[K12OSN] Drupal or Joomla

we use Joomla as well, for several schools.
it's easy to install (with yum or apt-get) and then quickly configure via a
web-browser.
students and teachers are easily tutored to use it, it has lots of
components and templates to expand it.
it starts very basic and it can be expanded quickly :-)
