thanks for explanation.

I think the biggest issue is the performance.

Let's skip monitoring part of Spacewalk and also packages contents
(which can be recreated by parsing RPM packages again). What are the
largest tables in Spacewalk? We need to know this and test the API-API
approach.

If the migration level is very high (organizations, channels, groups,
templates) then it could be doable, but we need to test this on real
environments.
