Yes, having packages in Fedora is good. Mostly because its guidelines 
force you to behave properly and to avoid hacks (e.g. candlepin-deps or 
converge-ui-devel). And there will be *long long way* before katello can 
get into Fedora (because Pulp, Candlepin and Foreman will have to be 
there first).
