$ virt-builder fedora-26
virt-builder: error: failed to download
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Virtualization:/virt-builder-images/images/index:
HTTP status code 500
[...]

You can temporarily disable this repo by doing:

$ mkdir -p ~/.config/virt-builder/repos.d/
$ touch ~/.config/virt-builder/repos.d/opensuse.conf

Keep an eye on https://status.opensuse.org/ . When
download.opensuse.org becomes available again you can just remove the
‘~/.config/virt-builder/repos.d/opensuse.conf’ file to go back to
normal.

Thanks: Pino Toscano for coming up with the incantation above.

Rich.
