Hmmmm, this looked a bit weird, so tried the patch:

   $ git am ../fix_mingw_build.txt
   Applying: build: fix mingw build
   warning: unable to rmdir .gnulib: Directory not empty
   $

Is ".gnulib" really the right target for changing?
