[Linux-cluster] RHES4 box does not prompt for password afterentering login id at console

Thanks very much chap, finally in the wee morning hours, I decided
to power-cycle (as can't even login to do reboot) the box & it came
up fine.  No eventful messages found in /var/log/messages file
