[linux-lvm] Format change

Hi,

 Is it possible to change the format of the disk partition from EVMS to the
latest LVM 2? Any documentation available? I have been using EVMS but would
like to move to LVM without disturbing my data, so would like to know if it
is possible at all or should I backup and restore it to LVM.
