200+ Expected to Attend
Information & Networking Event
About this Event: Data centers have emerged as a new and hot
alternative asset class in the recent years. In New York City, as
firms sought to locate their data infrastructure out of Manhattan,
northern New Jersey investors and developers realized significant
opportunities. In fact, most of the financial sector's data
infrastructure is now located in New Jersey. However, Sabey's recent
acquisition of the Verizon Building (375 Pearl Street) is atypical
for this region, and one which has attracted the interest of many in
the industry.

Still, northern New Jersey and suburban locations are poised to see
new development in the next 5-10 years as consumer and business
requirements for reliable and secure data storage are expected to

Considered an alternative niche in the commercial real estate
spectrum, data centers have, indeed, attracted alternative capital
sources. Recent equity investors and partners represent new and
innovative private equity and venture capital firms.

The Greater New York Data Center Summit will feature 25+ data center
investors, owners, developers, capital sources, brokers and
technology firms who will discuss key industry trends, including:
* What are the unique types of debt capital available for data center
investment, development and repositions?
* Who are the most active equity players and what are their return
* What are the unique data center demands of the region's financial
firms in today's environment?
* How is the demand for data center and storage capacity, driven by
consumer and business patterns likely to change in the next 5-10
* How can commercial real estate executives and data center owners
work more effectively with end-users?
* Following recent development and construction, is the Tri-State's
data center supply adequately meeting demand?
* Where is new development of data centers and repositions of
existing assets likely to occur in the next 5 years: New Jersey or
New York City?
* Why are investors and developers now considering Manhattan for new
data centers?
* What are the unique management and operations requirements of data
* Analysis and review of Greater New York data center capitalization
rates and market fundamentals
* Investment, Development and Financing Outlook for 2012
