[Patternfly] Progressive disclosure

I'd say that this is probably not the most pressing issue we have and if it's deferred to a future iteration, I'm fine with that.  This said, I looked at the references you presented and see what you mean about "progressive disclosure" as potentially being applicable to lots of different patterns.  I think this qualifies more as a design principle than as a pattern itself.  You might want to consider how progressive disclosure can be applied to simplifying the content of forms and revealing more detailed/advanced information only when demanded by the user.  Use of closeable panels comes to mind.  One example is in the EAP Admin console where we have inline help that can be shown/hidden on all edit screens.  Don't have screens shots immediately at hand but I can take some.

At last week's Patternfly meeting, the forms pattern team asked about progressive disclosure.  We suspect, based on our initial research/googling around [1] [2], that our definition of progressive disclosure may not be the whole picture, so we need to clarify what interaction or concept we are investigating.  

What do we mean by progressive disclosure?  What are some examples of what we mean by progressive disclosure?  Which products/interfaces use this today?
